Here are some of the tombs that now decorate some of the walls in the ruins....
The big pieces of rock that you see were placed over the tombs and were carved with portraits of the monks that lay there , quite impressive, most of the details have gone away with time but we could still make out a lot of who lay in them...
P.S. I am glad your all enjoying the visit...Sam has been very buzy with family worries...she's flying back out today and will soon be back on line...thank you all for the concerns...

The Scriptorium or the ''Salle des Moînes'', the place of the monks...XIIth century.
These dementions permit us to imagine the Abby as a whole.

Hostellerie Abbaye....

From this Checreuse Valley arises this 12th century cistercian abby, an extraordinary architectural building, stone hymn with gregorian resonances, powerful and mysterious place. Today the abby has become part of ''Les Hôtels Particuliers'' of Philippe Savry.

Good morning my friend...

This morning it's been raining again and as I opened the kitchen door I found a little escargot wanting to come in....
As I posted yesterday all of you conserned for my friend Sam, I spoke to her and all is fine she's been buzy catching up with her family and has had little access to internet, she'll be back soon...

What a great movie....
Yesterday it was a rainy day and since the kids are out of school well I've got to entretain, and I must say I was with this great film...
We love to dance and my daughter is fascinated with dance...
Hope the sun is shinning were ever you are...
By the way all of you concerned about Sam, she's fine just buzy catching up with her family, and she hasn't had too much access to internet...thanks for the worries...

Recuperating....

My experience in Lourdes has been one that I will never forget… I felt great love. Love and a superior energy that you get from the powerful presence of everyone there and even more so from the patients who suffer from all kinds of diseases who were there to received our humble help… We left with the Pilgrimage Dioceses of Castellon (Spain), the reason being that my friend is from the village of Torreblanca. We were a total of 600 people that of which 100 were sick patients the rest included doctors, nurses, cooks, priests, helper’s etc. it is an impressive organisation. Our mission was to participate as transporters this meant transporting the sick in their wheelchairs, or chariots to the different prayers, the grout, the bathing baths, but most important to have discussions with them to simply talk to them, share with them, give them hope, love, courage and of course hugs and kisses something that most of them are missing in their every daily lives, during a week of prayers, masses and pilgrimage… I learned many things there and had some amazing miracles happen to me personally...
It was a great adventure...I am very greatful.
