My cat Mimi Rogers, named after Tom Cruise's first wife...( a long story) well yesterday we went out for a long walk, Mimi always follows us, she's more like a dog...and then she got stuck, and needed some help! miaou miaou help, help!!!

Aubrieta (Aubriète)

Aubrieta (Aubriète)...Blue flowers produced in abundance....Look at this great cascading foliage...I couldn't resist, I had to take a picture...I have them in my garden too, but the cascading is not as great as this one...

Some one in the neighborhood decided to have fun with one of his trees…every time we go for walks kids like to stop and look at Mr. Potato head!!!

La Donjon de Houdan...

This is the ''Donjon de Houdan''...the Donjon (Tower) of Houdan....
Its super old, and I love it...a bit further down the Donjon they have created a medical center with primary doctors...so since I'm seeing a therapist for my back, I go twice a week...thought I'd share it...It always transports me back in time...

My Magnolia Tree...

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter Break! We were able to take off for a couple of days and have a nice family vacation...and to our surprice we found everything is blooming at home even my Magnolia Tree did it's first flower...I can smell summer is on it's way!!!

Shoes now head for ''the almacen'' the end of the line were they get the finishing touches...

Stiched upper now gets mounted on last, then bottom gets glued and nailed and then it get put back on ''la cadena mecanica'' the lasting conveior to get its finishing touches...
This ''cadena'' is a bit empty now because we are at the begining of building Collection prosses, and this factory that I am in is just for sample work...not so much productuion...

Once pattern has been cut...it goes to ''la aparadora'' stiching...and then it looks something like this...

Here comes the fun part...designing shoes...we draw understanding ''the possibilities'' because many things are not possible...this takes experience...then a pattern of desing is created...then we choose material shoe will be cut in and cutter cuts material following patterns...

We must then choose a heel and construction(sole etc..) to adapt to last...and the choice is endless...We mostly creat our own to be original in the business since we are a brand...

UNISA factory in Chinorlet Monovar, Alicante.....

I'm in Spain all week...working! Yeap designing shoe, shoes, and more shoes...I worked with Unisa years ago and 3 years ago they wanted me to come back for the European division...so hear I am helping them build the line...right now we are working on Summer 2007...
The factory is in the middle of ''el campo'' in Chinorlet about 50km from Alicante...

Blanchet Vanille de la Valée Chéron...

Voila a picture of our new addition...Blanchet Vanille, she's the cutes Golden Lab.
9 years ago we bought Nikita (a golden as well) at the Elevage de Paris-Normandie in la Vallée Chéron, the elevage has now been sited as the best elevage of Golden Retriever and Labrador in all of France, she even has two world champs in her elevage...It's amazing the business she has developed the last couple of years...

Flowers....

Some flowers to cheer us up! I love flowers and I always have fresh cut flowers in the house, I picked these up yesterday in the market...Pretty soon my tulips outside will be popping open...I can't wait to see my flowers in my garden...
